You took me out of context. What Karl Marx envisioned as well as Engles Lenin Stalin ETC was nothing new. Its a recipe for totalitarianism. Very similar to what the founders opposed and what is being riveted and chained to us now under Obama.

@mainestategop Yes there are abuses but for every person who leeches off of the system there are also those who are legitimately mentally or physically unable to work. Yes gun control is bad. Yes government control is bad. But are you going to tell me that republicans are any better than democrats? The two party system needs to be done away with.

The taxes being sucked out of the colonists were going to King George and the British elite. It was colonialism, not communism, though both are bad.

The founders were worried about policies that would be similar to what Marx wanted. THAT is what I said. And Im not just talking political totalitarianism, theres economic totalitarianism. As Margaret Thatcher pointed out there can be no personal liberty without economic liberty and She's right! I Know. Maine and Rhdoe Island has the worst track record for economic

liberty. They use it to also persecute the innocent.

What Marx said was new, that's why it's called Marxism. He proposed it.

Totalitarianism comes from the oppression of political opposition: padlocking the press, jailing dissenters, etc.. None of that is happening and you know it.

You have failed to disprove any historical fact I've stated. You're not familiar with the D.O.I. or the Constitution of our STILL GREAT COUNTRY.

The Constitution was ratified in 1789.

Karl Marx published the Communist Manifesto in 1848. There was no such thing as Marxism prior to 1848.

The Founding Fathers didn't care about something that didn't and wouldn't exist for another 50 years. They were concerned about Monarchy and England's abuses toward the colonies.
