Lara stop being so obsessed with being embedded with the troops months at a time and stay home and take care of your little children. I'm sure that CBS could accomodate your request to work in the states. The videos and pics of your clothes where you don't even look like you're wearing a bra is not good for the troops. Your prioriities appear to be all screwed up. You are more interested in spending time with the troops than your family.

I am confused, how can Lara say that her ideas on Afghanistan are not influenced by what the US military shows her when the US military never shows her the atrocities of the US military? For example, did the US military take her to met the the surviving members of families that were murdered by US assassination teams? Does Lara not realize that embedded journalism was created by the US military to control reporting on its operations in its favor?

@DulinVideoProduction Your interest is commendable... but I'm not sure I can help. I'm guessing millions of pages were written on the subject, and you can spend your life studying it. It's just too complicated to be able to give you the picture of what it's like. I simply have no time for this, and I'm not sure you do.

One of my favorite writers about the subject is Vladimir Voinovich, some of his things are translated in English. It's fiction, and very funny. Also try Sergei Dovlatov.
