[Real Talk] Cathlyn Choi
"Everyone LOVES Korean food, the menu NEVER fails!"
Cathlyn Choi
Starring 8 American Star chefs, the TV show "Korean Food Challenge"
has become a hot success in America.
Last August, the reputation of the TV series "Korean Food Challenge" created a big hit in California. In her series, Cathlyn Choi visits local chefs to share her passion for Korean cuisines, and creates all together the most exotic dish that leaves your mouth watering, and wanting more.
"Korean cuisine has always been underestimated," says Maria Sparks, owner and chef of Corks and Platter.
"It's time that the cuisine, get's the spotlight it needs."
"Korean cuisine's biggest strength is in it's attractive garnishes, their colors and different shapes."
Since it's debut on 2009, "Cathlyn's Korean Kitchen," has already gone through 3 successful seasons. Cathlyn's cooking trick lies in the "magic 5," kimchi, bulgogi(Korean marinated beef), ddeok(rice cake), gochujang(hot pepper paste),and doenjang(bean paste). With the 5 basics, she creates exciting dishes like "Bulgogi-Kimchi wraps" that are served with "Kimchi Salsa," and like that is not enough, she mixes pizza and kimchi together to make "Bulgogi Kimchi Pizza." As amazing as it sounds, some of her dishes are actually being sold in many local restaurants.
We bring Cathlyn Choi, the host/producer of the popular cooking program for a pleasurable episode of "Delicious talk"
Cathlyn Choi is the worst 'chef' i've seen on youtube. she should not call herself a chef. she seems to know only little about korean cooking.
