Proposed changes in Portland’s Comprehensive Plan help protect health and public safety, avoid increasing natural hazard risks, and acknowledge limited infrastructure and services. In this video, Environmental Planner Roberta Jortner explains the reasons behind proposed down designations in parts of Southwest and East Portland with drainage problems and natural hazards such as landslides.
