What a silly comment, comparing an aircraft introduced in 1958 with one from 1997.

The Victor was an awesome cold war bomber. It had a phenominal range and payload for such a relatively small aircraft.
It could carry over 35,000 of bombs over a range of 2,500 miles - with only a 110 ft wingspan. At Duxford for a while they had one parked under the wing of a B 52
