  • I hope that whoever is chosen turns out to be a woman. I strongly believe in helping women move forward economically. And my particular choice is for the Costa Pucu Group (all women).

  • This project is about financing farming products in order to allow a family to develop their family farm, which will allow for future development of a small business, and a better future for the children. Also, it helps improve the agriculture of a famished region, so there is a ripple effect.

  • I think no matter what you pick, the important part is that we're giving back. So choose whichever you like, I say!

  • I suggest part of the money go to helping the Las Azucenas Group from Nicaragua. These women are only in need of another $50. They are #375171

  • Such a good idea! I'd like to nominate Las Palmyx Group. They would use the loan to purchase used clothing and shoes to sell. I think it's a good group to choose because they are all women and one of the best ways to empower women is to give them the opportunity to make their own income.

Also, I think it's better to spread the money around to lots of loans so as many people as possible can benefit.

  • Great idea Rob

  • I would like to recommend Bongoline B Group. It is a program operated by the One Acre Fund. The loans are used to provide fertilizers, seeds and training to local farmers utilizing modern agricultural techniques. This allows the farmers to ensure food security for their children and neighbors. There is also a time constraint issue as the upcoming planting season begins in February. kivadotorg/365217
