1994 • Another Euro version for Radney. This one without the travel footage and just performance on a bridge in Nashville. Not seen in the US. •

  • Why are these euro versions so much better than the US versions? What the heck?

  • Record companies are willing to experiment a bit more for overseas viewing.

  • One of the best country songs of the last 20 odd years. How about writing another verse, as this great song is too short. Merle must have been in a hurry.

  • we all know Hag is the man. Way to go Radney yo cooled it up

  • I like this version better than Merle's. Radney is true country

  • no wonder i didnt want to get married, i had this song in mind.......lmfao

  • Onebarton is right that steel player is Jimmy Crawford, one of the BEST that ever lived!!! He was one of my steel teacher's and I got to spend a week with him in his home in Hendersonville TN studying the steel What a memory!! Lloyd Maines and Bucky Baxter both learned licks from Jimmy I guarantee it!! Radney Foster always felt lucky to have had Jimmy playing for him. I'll never forget him!

  • Very well done, I love it !

  • It was exactly as long as it needed to be for Merle to say what he needed to say.

  • That ol' boy is wearing that b-bender out on that Tele. I'm not really sure who it is on the steel but he's every bit and equal to Bucky Baxter and Lloyd Maines.

  • :))

  • A very good rendition of Merles.

  • Isn't that the late Jimmy Crawford playing?
