  • hey nice bike setup man!

    Little question:

Would you recommend this for someone who's 6feet tall? and for a beginner?

  • @ikkeennigij121

I am 5' 11" so you should be fine. And yes the Vtwin on the SV's or Gladius make for a good first street bike. But they are also a good bike for experienced riders as well. Lot's of torque (low end usable power) and a wonderful growl from the engine!

  • @SushiChefOttoBlum ok thanks..last question/remark. I heard that this bike is often seen as a 'girlsbike' but should I believe what some people say or just ignore it?

    Thanks in advance!

  • @ikkeennigij121 The Gladius and the SV before it were often called girls bikes but so what.....If a girls rides it then it is a girls bike. I know a chick who rides a Busa so that is a girls bike. Anyway most of the people who will tell you it is a girls bike will most likely be 20 year old frat boys who ride in shorts and t shirts so when they tell you ride a girls bike you can say it better then being a douch bag Squid!

  • What's the name of your headlight setup?

  • nise bike

  • Do the mirrors where there at work better or about the same. Nice looking bike you have there. Take care,yl

  • btw hope you don't me stealing some of your ideas, I'm looking into the same bike as my daily driver since my 10 R1 is too aggressive for my commute to work, I want the FZ8, but it does not have the torque that I need for a traffic filled commute.

  • Very Clean SFV 650 gladius, I personally would have gone all black and gave it that murdered out look like your Kwak KZ650. Any thoughts on doing a full exhaust or just getting rid of that cat on the stock exhaust would probably help your mid range and top end on that thing plus it would sound wicked.

  • @SushiChefOttoBlum haha ok :p..thanks for the info ;) i'm one step closer to riding my first bike now :)

  • Why did you put those stupid headlights on that bike? What was wrong with the stock headlight? Did you crash it on your way to McDonalds or the hair-dresser? You bought and ugly girlie-bike and made it into an uglier girlie-bike. Good job there, LOL!
