You said you aren't allowed to sag in the middle as an authorized rest position... incorrect. FM 21-20 states "An altered, front-leaning rest position is the only authorized rest position. That is, you may sag in the middle or flex your back. When flexing your back, you may bend your knees, but not to such an extent that you are supporting most of your body weight with your legs." Just trying to let everyone be clear on the regs.

@derrell1231 Hooah, enlisting in march :D

Is it important to look forward when doing push-ups?

@ContainedMax It has alot to do with height, genetics and how much body fat/muscle a person has. I am 14 and im 6' 1'' and 168, i have barely any fat on me, i am at around 10% body fat. Muscle weighs more than fat, ( 1 pound of muscle is less mass than one pound of fat) hence why you ( other people ) can weigh more and be skinny. :)

@Hm0ngYexus,
There are height and weigh requirements an applicant must meet.
