@JEMS1871982: just take a look at the electribes, for example, they had much less display, and still you could work with them very easily.

on the other hand, the microstation can be used as a plugin in FL Studio most DAWs, so you can still work with it without loosing convenience.

In FL Istudio I build my song arrangements from patterns, like all DAWs I suppose, I'm quite new to this, but how can you create and arrange the various patterns on this? I don't see how its possible to build a full song, rearranging the patterns and applying effects and automation etc when all you have to work with is a 2 line LCD screen!
