    a) I pretty much never watch videos in HD because my computer will explode

    b) I'm not saying its necessarily one way or another I thought it kept the same bitrate from exporation settings

    Because you're too stupid to work this out on your own, here's some help: youtube encodes audio for 240p videos at 60 kbps/mp3. It encodes 360p and 480p at 128 kbps/aac.  It encodes 720p at 152 kbps/aac.

    You really think that 240p vids on youtube use exactly the same bitrate audio as 720p? You've never noticed a jump in audio quality switching to HD? I pity you.
