technically the raptor came out late 20th but it didn't go into service til 2006, I'd call it more of a 21st century plane

Its hard to decide but i think the fight would be between the F-15 and the F-14 because they are both awesome but it is soooo close between those 2

@F15RC1 yea the F-14 is definitely a great fighter,i would have it at 11 or 12 in aviation history,only because there were some issues with the F-14's engines and landing gear,although the F-14D did solve some of these but the F-14 still was costly to maintain.but i would have the F-14 as the worlds best Navy interceptor while it was in service.
