Kirk Hammett is a great player and can play great when he wants to, if he wants to dabble in the "wah wah" crap these days then so be it, but you can't deny a lot of his solos on those earlier Metallica albums..No comparison to Marty, but anyone who acts like he has no talent is just straight up dick riding. I love Megadeth and prefer them over Metallica, but most of the people who hate on Kirk are just followers who haven't listened to half of his guitar work..so eat my shit! They're both good!

@polishguy994 A lot of people hate him (I'm not a big fan of him myself) because he has a really bad vibrato. He can bend strings, but his vibrato really sucks haha. That's why he's kinda overrated in my opinion. He's not that bad but there are A LOT of better guitarists out there.

@felching I don't understand why so many people dislike Kirk because he uses a Wah pedal. Hendrix often used a wah pedal in his solos and he is remembered as one of the greatest guitarist of all time, but when Kirk uses it (I'm not comparing Hendrix's guitar work to kirks, but just the use of a wah pedal) then everyone acts like its somehow a bad thing or that he is selling out or something like that. I just don't get it.
