Amos 3:7 says God will do nothing except He reveals His will to His prophets. That's pretty clear--if you are promoting "prophets" in your religion. We all know that you can support just about ANY concept and use the bibble as supporting "proof". There was(still is) support for a flat or geocentric view of earth in the bibble--the center of the universe. We all know what happened to THAT theory or concept.

You can't be a prophet without making prophecies. That defeats the whole purpose of being a prophet at all.

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith...

If we don't need apostles and prophets, then we don't need evangelists, pastors or teachers either.

If you believe the bible, and are honest that a unity of faith eludes us, you will seek and follow His prophets and apostles.

Ok the apostles and prophets were needed to get to where Jesus started, that is the foundation. Once you have the foundation you Build the Church, The propblem is Mormonism think there was some great apostasy? funny since they also belive John Never died and him with 3 other aposles are still alive. so when did the apostasy happen? kinda contradictory don't you think?

Oh and Now is then, Jesus revealed himself to them.

You missed one Ephesians 2:19-22. "built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets"

before christ there was a need for prophets, we are the temple we do not need prophets, just Jesus Christ. We don't need the church, just Jesus who died on the cross for us. We are saved by Grace and faith in him alone! No works, we are forgiven of ALL our sins through our Savior! When you have Jesus in your heart you will do good works, but they will not get you to heaven.

Did he ever marry? If he did we do not know of it but there is the possiblility. Where is your proof that he never married at all? If the world was celibate then there would be nobody here. I believe God wants us to get married regardless of what Paul's personal opinion is.

True. Paul was always on the move teaching the gospel. In times of persecution it would have been hard for him to have a family during that time.

i disagree completely it isnt contradicting God, the world is populated if you feel called to not marry you aren't doing something wrong , your just reading it how you want to, im not saying getting married is bad im saying not getting married is in no way lesser.
