  • When Samoans and Tongans hear the word Hawaiian or think of a Hawaiian, the first image that comes to mind is a small, Asian/Filipino looking person. And it should be NO WONDER as to why they think this (look at all of these guys). Everyone that claims to be Hawaiian these days is an admixture (mixed with Filipino or Japanese genes which produce a smaller, less Polynesian looking person) or not Hawaiian at all (like many Japanese and Filipinos that claim to be Hawaiian).
