The Q-tip Thief

My cat Frankenstein (aka Frankie) has an unhealthy obsession with Q-tips. He can't open the bathroom drawer, but he somehow discovered he can reach the contents of the drawer through th cabinet. How he knew they were in there in the first place I have no idea.

Your cat is too smart. My cat Cosmo has gotten to the point that whenever her water bowl on our bathroom counter is empty, she knows that if she knocks stuff off the counter it will get our attention so that when we come in to see what the commotion is we see that her water bowl is empty and refill it. Usually we kick her out if she gets overly obnoxious about it.

My answer to your problem is to probably play with him more or get him a toy he can knock around the floor or pick up in his mouth.

@ArtemisOkami Too smart is right. Y'know how cats love to bat around the seal rings from gallon jugs? Well he figured out where they came from and was trying to pull them off unopened spring water jugs in the pantry! With 2 other cats and a bevy of toys to play with and tons of attention from everyone in the house he still manages to get into mischief.
