Congrats to Warner Bros. for some great audio editing to restore synch to this scene. The first clip is from the original transfer, the second from the new restoration, and the last runs both audio tracks together to show the difference. (Luckily, the music in the background stops just before the dialogue begins to allow it to be edited.)
Well done!
Yes, the audio we hear is not from the take we see. That's why I impressed WHV took the time to improve the sync.

The audio we hear is not for the take that is in the film. This scene was edited out by Warner Brothers in 1954. This scene was restored back into the filmlater by Ronald Haver. We only have this footage because it was found in the stock footage libary at Warner Brothers. Judy garland was left in the footage by accident. Its a minor miracle we have this. However I am very happy to whoever put up this clip. I do enjoy all of your clips.
