@OnceBitten360 I as well am also curious where you get that info from?
-
a high elf mini horde may be usefull in his list

Boom. Beastmen.

Wow that mountain chimera sounds like a real beast, nice proxy dragon btw, looks good on a larger base instead of a 40mm. Good batrep, I enjoyed the game and the additional commentary on the lost game, sounded like a real blast. Hope you two meet again for other games.

@311johnjohn maybe you should wait until you have your rulebook on you lol. read it again, the doombull can NOT be picked out by BS shooting from that gor unit. you're right that he doesn't get a LO,S though.
-
The Doombull can be picked out by shooting even when he's in a unit like that. Needs to be of the same troop-type to benifit from Look out Sir and the protection of the unit. Don't have the rulebook on me, but check the section about shooting at characters in combined units. Nice to see that Chimera actually working for once though.

Thanks for the report. Mountain Chimera FTW!!!

@UltrariderV3 I'm no Beastmen expert, but a good solid block of infantry or two backed up with whatever you like is a good basis for any Warhammer army. :)

Hey OB I need some advice, what is a good way to go about starting a Beastmen Army?
-
Really interesting to see the mountain chimera going wild :) Looking forward to seeing your minotaur army in the future!
Good video OB but you are such a tease for us minotaur fans. How many in your list? As for the High Elfs, did his Lvl 3 and Lvl 2 mages backed up by the Banner of Sorcery do nothing? You were fortunate. They could have been nasty.

@Anvilarm07 They really didn't do much. His luck was just awful.

Couple things: [+] Doombull replaces primal fury with frenzy when joining non-minos (sounds like you rerolled some attaks in there). [+] By the rules, if your chimera-shaman doesn't cast, the elves can use their dispel dice to drop Transformation, and then magic ends, you don't get to cast after all. The way to keep the chimera in your turn would be to drop it at beginning of magic and then recast it (or have other wizards to keep his dispel busy). Yep, not awesome.

@BossSalvage I forgot about that, but it didn't affect anything since my gors refused to kill anything anyway. I got rerolls on my doombull because he has the sword of ASF. Where do you get your info on the magic phase rules?

Wouldn't your interpretation of the casting phase imply that you can never dispel RIP's when your sorcerer dies?
Since you have no spells to cast ( unless you have bound items etc. ).

@TheFilescraps Yeah, I hate that interpretation, but it is RAW.
