German Shepherd Dogs are really good dogs.

GSD can latch on to anything they bite. That is why cops use them. GSD will hold on to a person even if that person is hitting them!! GSD do not let go until there master tells them to. Some people will even run when the cop says he will pull out his gun. But they will stop when they say they will bring out the dog. GSD are number 1 on the biting list.

That does not mean that they are not good pets. German Shepherd Dogs will guard there owners with there life. GSD are great with kids and other pets.

GSD are big and active so an apartment is not the best place for them.

Q: why are they called German Shepherd Dogs?
A: In German then were used to herd cattle.

If a German Shepherd Dog seems good to you, they go get one.

  • @dms5805 Savor the puppyhood. They stay puppies for a LONG time, even after they LOOK adult. You can't even breed them until they are 2 years old and still they can be very puppy-like then. My boy will be 3 soon. I don't love him 'to death,' I love him with all my heart.

  • @THEwolfKiana I'd be glad to see my boy representing GSDs. He's large, handsome and not neutered. He loves being all he can be. SueSolari, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Boz.

  • The GSD at 1:06.. the purely white one looks like a big cat xD.. but i think all of them are beautiful! :) <3 I got me a gsd puppy thats only 2 months old right now.. I can't wait till he grows up to be a big dog

  • i have a german shepherd. i love him to death. his name is Azkaban

  • This is my dog... #1:21 1:22. I, would like a copy of this photograph, please.

  • Either rescue or find the best breeder you can. Try rescue first. I have my second pedigreed GSD, and i wanted to rescue one, but they won't let you adopt to anyone with a non-neutered dog. He does some show (you can't show a neutered dog), but mostly he works.
