I found it interesting what Paul says. Also, this guy just has an unmistakable, terrific voice - almost makes you kind of jealous if you also play the guitar a bit but don't have a good voice ...

he just says the truth. there is such a lack of pretence with paul. he doesnt think hmm im going to hide a hippy message behind this song, he just writes the damn song cos it sounds good. and then decides its not good enough while the rest of the world is marvelling over its beauty!!!!!!!!!!!! he doesn't like the 59th bridge song or i am a rock or any of his early work. read what he says in the songbook. he just doesnt get how great he is!
