Want a tip from an old Contra Vet?
On the first boss hold onto the spread fire,hang back a bit or the troops from the chopper with overrun your fire,give your self a little room,on the second pass wait until the chopper's weak spot is on the second block to the left on screen,then unload on it,you'll get an extra life.

B, A on the first one, A, B on Super C.
You could also do 30 lives for two players on the first one, by hitting select, select, start to end the code.

This game doesnt have the Konami code which is (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, a, b, start) - Super C uses (right, left, down, up, b, a, start) and that gives you 10 men....just sayin
