"Mi Familia"

Need additional practice with vocabulary words associated with "la familia", then this just the song for YOU!!!! Teachers this can serve as a part of quiz too. First have students preview the audio version of the clip. Next pass out the lyrics, with each line missing at least one word (i.e. remove "hijo" from the line "el hijo de mi tío es mi primo" and have students try to recall the lyrics. Then replay the song, this time you sing along. Then the third time around, show the students the video clip. Totally awesome and it totally works!!!

While it's grammatically correct to say, "A ella no le gusta..." it's not always used in everyday speaking plus I omit it to make it flow with the beat. The goal of this song is to reinforce family roles as vocabulary words as well as the use of "de" as a prepositional phrase. :)
