Wish my dad had been in my life more. I know he loves me and feels like crap for letting 18 yrs pass and missing out on me.Sometime I wanna just make him listen to this song.Was this how he felt when he left home? Makes me sad to know that he wasnt there as much as he couldve been.:(Beautiful song.

My dad was killed instantly in a motorcycle crash. That day changed me. My dad struggled his whole life in and out of drugs & nvr did I think it would be a motorcycle that would take his life. He was finally clean & sober. As these lyrics say As I walked out this morning, I cried as I walked to the door, I cried about how long I'd be away for... now all I want is my father to protect me from what he endured, he may not be here to do that, but I know daily he's watching over me and protecting me.

@wolfdancer93 trust me i know... i actually lost my dad 7 years ago today.... we didnt have your situation though, we were very very close.......... i miss him like crazy.... if i knew then, i wouldnt have ever taken him for granted...

Feel real sorry for the people on here who missed out on havin a father, I got a great dad and now try my best to b a good dad to my little one, well 11 goin on 20yr old. I have been lucky and realise and cherish to sound abit gay this. And tho seperated from little ones mum do my best for my daughter. Cant belive some people, dont have kids if u aint goin to be there to raise support and love them through good n bad times. Takes more than a quick splirt 2call yourself a father.
