Speed painting (greyscale)

Why is it youtube doesn't save my descriptions here? Incredibly irritating!

Okey, this is my attempt at doing a digital painting from scratch. Usually I start with a sketch, then I ink, and then I colour. This time, I just started with a grey blob (:
Surprisingly enough, it was tons of fun! And I think I've learnt a few things and improved a teeny weeny bit today *squee*

Photoshop CS3
Intuos 4 tablet
Camtasia Studio

Awesome. I tries so hard to get the grey scale method right, but epically failed. It just remained a grey blob :( But your drawing looks totally awesome! Thumbs up!!!! (...Doesn't sound as good as 5stars.....sigh)

@VeeDreameh Yes, you should try! I've never done anything like this before until I actually tried yesterday 8D didn't turn out horribly wrong, and was actually a lot more fun that I thought it'd be.
