  • @MrNerfornothing because air jacks would break, you forget that openwheel cars are only 1/3rd the weight of stock cars like this.

  • @cb7pwn if you watch them when the camera pans away, most crews have a broom they modified with a long magnetic bar, they more or less "sweep" the nuts up.

  • so they have 20 bolts flying around the pit area??!... 

  • Cause you can't lift the whole car up in the air , too dangerous and time consuming to balance it and lift entire car.. no room for a lift , hydro jack works great
