@Frankomatic I know what happend. One of the ejected soldiers shot the base.

@0634044 That's right, though the secret difficulty didn't give you any particular mission, though. You were simply free to destroy everything at your leisure. The thing about it, though, is that it gave you 16000 points, which means that each mission after that one yielded a promotion, allowing you to retire as a general after eight missions.

I think that there was a secret difficulty. All u have to press is 4 at the difficulty screen and it goes to it

This brings back memories; I used to play this game all the time when I was younger. I find it really impressive that the author wrote this when he was 15!

everything in this game gets "Destoryed
-
Theres a secret base all the way on the right screen if you shoot a missle at the land, you can fly to yet one more screen to the right.

I love this one~! I totally remember the UFO

Mark made this game when he was 15!

oh god, *boom* oh god!

You should do one of these for Dracula in London.
There's also a very hard mission on the 2.56 or something version. The one that stands out most in my mind is the mission where you have to destroy a nuclear missile before it's within two screens of the base. It doesn't make any sense, but I guess that's Chopper Commando for you.

That one's actually pretty fun to fail since it results in easily the largest explosion the game can handle.
My personal favorite is the one where the mission is just "Total war has been declared, go blow everything up" though.

Frank did you know that the kamikaze was going to happen or was that an accident?

I'm still trying to figure out why it happened. They didn't touch at any point.

who's ranked number1??? with all those points

That's Mark Currie, the creator. He's got a few of himself in the original roster that're all dead or missing.
