Sen. Inhofe is wrong, of course, about the science of global climate change, except for the general fact that science is never quite settled. But this is not sufficient reason to be anti-science and a global warming skeptic.

Science is never settled. That's the nature of science. There has been consensus, however, for many years. We are doing it. But the debate is not over - it never is. New findings will be made and so on. That's the thing with science that any educated person acknowledges. But a well educated person is probably not the real target of Mr. Inhofe.
