Illamasqua Nail Quills: How to make them

£35 seems like a bit of an obscene amount of money to pay for 2 false nails so I decided to do a tutorial showing how to make them. I did do a blog post showing how to make these but I was getting a lot of people asking me to do a video on it as it would be easier to understand. -Clear Fake nails (these cost me 56p. You should be able to find cheap nails like this in any big store)

You didn't put a base coat or top coat so it won't last as long!

@wolfangel2830917 its better to use nail glue because using lash glue sometimes makes a really strong bond depending on what type it is. But you can use it if you need to. Also to get the nails off try soaking them in a bowl of warm water for about 10 minutes but NEVER pull them off. If that doesn't work take cotton wool and dip in polish remover and wipe over the nail. Hope this helped :D

This may sound silly but I never worn fake nails before, do you have to use nail glue or can you use lash glue? And how can you get them off after a while?

@SwimmersGetWet let the black dry longer nd b very careful wen u peel it off. hope this helps!

I loveee this! Illamasqua is such a great brand but when these quills first came out, I thought they were too expensive also. Especially because this look (I believe) is very much a photograpic look and not an "everyday" nail look.
