This version has the list of riders at the end.
On August 6-7, 2010, the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA or Combat Vets Association) North Carolina Chapter 15-1 held their 1st Annual Charlie Mike Memorial Ride. ("Charlie Mike" = CM = Continue the Mission) The ride was over 1,000 miles in 24 hours (Iron Butt) in remembrance of the 43 North Carolinians who are MIA (Missing in Action) in Vietnam. Regardless of whether or not we accomplished the mission of 1,000 miles in 24 hours, we rode for the MIA. The ride was unique in that (1) the route was within North Carolina, (2) we travelled a combination of country roads, highways (2 and 4 lanes), and interstates, (3) we rode through towns, (4) we had no injuries, mishaps, or break downs, and (5) a dog completed the 1,000 miles. I am sure there were other unique factors. The mission was accomplished! Note: Chewy (Biker Dog) and his driver are not members of CVMA, but they were honored to be part of this fantastic event and to ride with the CVMA.
I still love watching the video... thanks so much for all of your hard work!
