Two items French language is taught k-12 and Cajun French is an older form of French The older 50's era cajuns like the Balfa brother's is in this type of French.That's why so many translation failure's happen . I love the sad sounding melody. All other cajun songs I've listened to so far were jolly party tunes, so this is really different for me. It's nice. Are there any other good cajun songs with a melody like this?
