A groovy track from their Sunbeam album, which was their 6th and last hit album. The song was a hit, charting at #6 on the Black Singles chart. Enjoy! (Video blocked in Germany)
And here's a little history I felt like sharing:
The Emotions originally started in 1968, at first called The Hutchin son Singers, but changed their name to The Emotions. In 1969, they had an unsuccessful 3 year run with Stax records, with 2 studio albums, and an unreleased studio album, all produced by Isaac Hayes (yes, that Isaac Hayes) and David Porter. In 1972, they signed on Columbia Records with the association of Maurice White (the leader of Earth, Wind & Fire). He would eventually make The Emotions a household name with the albums Rejoice and Sunbeam in 1977 and 1978. Maurice White-co-produced with Clarence McDonald the single "Best Of My Love" spent five weeks at number-one on the US pop chart in 1977.
