@mydogchance195 I read an article years ago about Southeby's (I think) being offered a semi acoustic bass smash by Entwistle. They rang him up to ask for authentication and he said 'see if it's full of confetti'. It was- the plan was for the confetti to go everywhere when he smashed it, but instead the neck just broke off...

fuck you youtube delete all

@hvh823iow That is totally cool. He never showed much emotion but he was an amazing artist. Thank you for sharing.

John Entwistle was the quiet one

Yes. He placed his bass next to his amp, and Moon knocked it over. The neck and headstock fell off, so John, very angry, threw it down on the ground, sending pieces everywhere.

Wow i listened to the whole of this concert, its great, im glad they played a lot of songs from lifehouse. And does John really smash his bass?!

damn good drumming at the end!
John smashes his bass? Too bad there is no video. Had to be the first and only time.

@mydogchance195 A site did say that at the 10/12/1982 Shea Stadium show (if it's not that, it's the other one), John threw his bass (like how Pete throws it at the end of the concert at Kilburn) at the end of Won't Get Fooled Again. It could be wrong though.
