You're absolutely right...nothing has changed. Many very sick and vulnerable human beings are suffering abuse at the very hands of those who should practice care and compassion WHATEVER is wrong with their patients.Thankfully,knowledge/ facts largely gathered by independent researchers (and pateints themselves) is gaining momentum.Nobody in whatever position of power over the weak and sick can abuse that denial of truth forever.

Nothing has changed in 20 years - many doctors still don't recognise ME and patients still have to fight to get recognition and treatment.
