Achille Bonito Oliva lo avrebbe accomunato a Caravaggio nel suo libro" L'ideologia del traditore".Nessuno dei suoi "colleghi",(ritengo che Garner non avesse colleghi, come non li aveva Caravaggio in pittura)è mai riuscito a metterlo in ombra,semplicemente perchè non avevano "spessore" praticamente evanescenti,per oscurarlo.

  • Per qualcuno Garner era considerato un outsider,forse messo in ombra da colleghi all'epoca più talentuosi,a me piace molto e trovo questo brano,"le foglie morte",uno dei più belli che ho ascoltato al piano.

  • I wore out two vinyl LP's of this album after I first discovered his music in CA in the 60's. Perhaps the beauty of the coast set him free as it did so many of us.
