A compilation of clips of Class 66 'Sheds' hauling freight up and down the East Coast Mainline, on (mainly) sunny days. The locos featured are operated by EWS (now DB Schenker), Freightliner, and GBRf.

  • Oh, was Doctor Who on site in that first shot ? Very, very, interesting to see so many diesel locomotives drawing an invisible train. You (the video uploader) and I must keep in touch because Doctor Who and such phenomena raises all sorts of interesting questions.

  • @MusicPredominates Ha Ha Ha... Yes, strange eh? Actually, I was told they bring them down from Doncaster or perhaps somewhere else to do some weekend working down south. A varying number of them travel down like that every week.

  • @Hanglands : I live in outer Melbourne, and one of the sluburbs is called Doncaster. I once had a girlfriend who had come from the real Doncaster (yours) and every time she said ´D´ I thought she meant the local ´D. The sadness was that I wasn´t the real boyfriend, but merely a ´pretty boy´. Her real boyfriend was a traditional and classical HUNCHBACK!
