Hmm, they still haven't gotten guitars to sound authentic as VST's, though this one isn't too bad, you can definately here the "midi-ness" on the higher notes. The fret sliding noise is really cool.
Future videos will sound better. The problem with this one is using the wrong speakers and camera. And you are right, you have to keep your notes in a certain field of play. In the upper registers, it sounds plastic.
I wonder if anyone has tried the Roland VG-99 with these samples/modelers?

I would be willing to hear them. Roland makes very good equipment, but these are computer based samples.
If the Roland sounds are good, then it is likely possible to get them on cd or dvd to load into software synths.

The keyboard is a Keystation Pro but it does not have sounds. The guitar is a software in my pc called Jim Corrigan Nashville High Strung Guitars.
