On the Bay - 2008

Order of footage:

Downtown Portland, coming from Tukey's Bridge via 295 (shoulda used the song from Jackson Browne where he sings "rollin' down 295 out of Portland, Maine! lol" - Back Bay is to the right and Portland is to the left.

I thought it was originally coming from South Portland, but forgot that I couldn't use that particular footage so thanks to 2xMooreOn for pointing this out to me.

Maquoit II, freight loading at Casco Bay Lines.

Crow Island w/ Cow Island in the background.

Bell Buoy Marker on Hussey Sound with Long Island off to the left and Pumpkin Knob to the immediate right.

Various shots of the Aucocisco II, the newest ferry in the CBL fleet and certainly one of the most interesting.

Hooking the line at Mariner's Wharf on Long Island, Maine. The deckhands yell "yup" into a microphone so the captain knows when they've hooked the line to the landing.

Barge - I like to think that when the vocalist sings about "hearing music all around", I imagine its the sounds of an active, working waterfront - Portland's strongest asset.
