In an interview broadcast on May 5 by Philadelphia's CBS television affiliate, The CW Philly 57, motivational speaker and peak performance coach Bill Cawley told viewers the techniques and strategies that he used to achieve success and happiness despite an abrupt and life-changing accident 15 years ago.

In 1982, Cawley sustained a spinal cord injury when a dive from a dock on the New Jersey shore went tragically wrong. Soon after the accident, doctors told Cawley (then only 24 years old) that it was time to "scale back his dreams" as he would be dependent upon others for the rest of his life.
