find the original, a tresure for so many reason including it's elegant piano accomaniment which so beautifully matches Caruso's very personal phrasing played by none other than the composer himself, Leoncavallo. This sappy, soggy sentimental oschestral interpolation however well intended, reduces the record to something trite and banal..
