"U.S.S. ZYDECOLDSMOBILE" is a tune by Jimmy Buffett off his 2000 CD "Far Side Of The World", "ZYDECOLDSMOBILE" is a portmanteau of "Zydeco Music" & "Oldsmobile" & I think it's about a New Orleans Zydeco musician buddy of Jimmy's who owns a mint condition '74 Olds 98 Regency sedan and a mint condition '74 Custom Cruiser like this one & whenever Jimmy's in New Orleans, They sometimes go cruising together in one of those Ultra-Fine Detroit Classics!!!
Amazed to see one still around! Our family had a '74 Custom Cruiser when I was a kid in the 70s, white with maroon interior and woodgrain trim. An enormous vehicle.
The '74 Olds wagons slogan was MANY NICE THINGS MAKE A DIFFERENCE. (from Newsweek magazine, March '74.) Well, my friend, you made a difference by uploading this video on my favorite car of the '70s! There were less than 8,000 of their babies made and this is a good video. The '74 Custom Cruiser, my car of the decade!
Got a hot rod cam on that beast?

That car looks great! My dad had a 1974 Vista Cruiser with a rocket 350 in it. I spent many years as a kid riding in the back seat. LOL
