I fully agree to you, but i think that music is just a reflection of the society, it does not actively form the society. It is something that gets formed by it, so we have to regard it as an indicator.

People have stoped to care for each other, satisfaction has become all. Relying on old norms and values such as honour are fading away. Too bad.

I agree, today's music is all hip-hop, rap and R&B. It's pretty well a bunch of rappers talking like their so gangster and about all the evils of the world. No wonder society is so rotten. 80's music and 90's music (Especially Euro) are way better to listen to than the stuff that I listened to on FLO 92.5 in Toronto. I'd much rather put my earphones and listen to this song than smoke joints and let the rap warp my mind and make me think like I'm a gang member.

More songs like this would make society more pleasant, in my opinion. I'm glad to see that DJ BoBo hasn't stopped singing. His music was good in the '90s. I've searched on Facebook for Emjay, Ice MC, Alexia, JK, etc. etc. and the other old MCs, but they just disappeared. It's sad that the best singers stopped singing and are replaced with the singers of today.
