@pa65342 Actually Android dictation is MUCH better. You can see results of speech recognition appears as you keep talking. Not only that, but it is more accurate.
Where the Siri beat Android, is ability to "understand" what are you asking her to do, and perform actions(answer questions/schedule tasks/send emails). Competing technology from Google is called Voice Actions. Microsoft's one - TellMe. Yahoo's one, iirc, called Vligo or something. All three could send texts, search web etc.
