did anyone else freak out when it says "the US military does not promote or endorse this product?" isn't that saying something about what technologies this game has?! my buddy and i freaked out cuz all of the "military" games ive played that have been closer to reality have all had special thanks to the military for their support and cooperation...hmmm

But hey, not ALL Russians are baddies in Tom Clancy's branded ficiton. Similarly in Advanced Warfighter not all Mexicans were baddies - only the militant rebels, while loyalists were cooperating with the US to regain the country. I presume there will be some "democratic and pro-American" Russians cooperating with Ghost Recon and the US in this game as well. But yes, this game is made primarily for the US audience, about the US military, so it looks like it promotes US imperialism. Tough life.
