@Stoyakovick47 Evidently you learned anatomy at one of those great colleges.

He was almost to old to fight, and had terrible vision. The military had him do something he was already experienced in. Based on the books about him, I've read; he wanted to go overseas. It was the same thing that saved Ike from being in Europe in World War 1. They wanted to fight, but their orders were to the contrary.

Funny, very funny. Reagan actually only made 'training' films for the military and never actually fought in war or even went over seas.

Soldier: "I'm from a little town in Minnesota. No one's probably ever heard of it. It's called Saint Olive."
Sophia, Blanche and Dorothy: "Oh GOD!!!!"

Greatest American President in History. RIP Ronald Reagan.

In the book The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat, neurologist Oliver Sacks describes a study of the reactions of patients with aphasia and agnosia to a televised address by Ronald Reagan.
Because of their brain disorders they couldn't process the presidents words.
But they were all aware of the affected cadence and phony sincerity in his voice, and so they collapsed with laughter.

How dare people dis Ronnie.
The man could do no wrong and say no wrong.
Even when Nancy had to whisper in his ear & tell him what to say because his Alzheimer's had addled his mind.
Who cares if he wasn't qualified to be president?
As long as he could play one on tv!

If you love USA Stoyakovick, then stay there
American culture IS the mantra "USA is the world's only true democracy" bla bla
The rare yank who stick his head out of the sand sees immediately
1 USA is not the paragon of freedom & justice they were told
2 Other democracies have greater political diversity, social harmony, and quality of life
Getting back to Reagan, remember Iran Contra?
At least Ron stepped up & took responsibility.
After destroying the evidence, that is.
LOL!

To Stoyakovick,
I am also a Reagan fan.
I remember with fondness the days when most Conservatives & Republicans had Reagan's integrity, dignity, and manners.
Reagan did not resort to childish name calling and vulgar personal insults. He helped lift America above that.
Do you remember?

No rational person expects to resolve political differences or even debate reasonably on Yutube, the epitome of American sound bite idiocy
See how my comment about Reagan sent Stoyakovick on an angry rant of childish insults and subjective skewed statistics
But I confess it's fun to occasionally post a fair yet provocative comment, knowing some intolerant pinhead like Stoyakovick will eventually have to rant uncontrollably
It'll probably give him a stroke, but then we're all better off
LOL!
