I became paralyzed in Nov of 99, and i just started to learn how to play the drums. After my accident i thought i didn't want to play the drums again until around 2005. I came up wit hthe Parapedal.

  • @megabobcatman i had a spinal stroke when i was 13.

  • hey guys! i checked out Jason Gerling's stuff. He is quiet amazing! I am going to shoot a new video for my parapedal, it is still the same pedal i never really worked on making it smaller because honestly, It feels very comfortable and i can play very well with it now. So i don't have any plans on to try anything new. i wheel around all day long playing beats over n over in my head and i just always use my mouth as the kick. it's second mature to me now!

  • I'm a quadriplegic drummer. I have use of my arms. The sticks are attached to my hands with Velcro. For the bass drum and hi-hat I use a "sipp & puff" switch. I gently blow into a small, straw type tube to kick the base. I gently sip, or suck air through the tube to open the high hat. It plugs right into my drum brain. The switches are available on eBay. TRY IT OUT! Simple!

  • hey man that's sick! i never thought of blowing into anything. could you tell me the name of any switches ur talking about? i wouldn't even no what to search on eBay. thanks!

  • Show Us Some Music instead Of talking the whole time

  • i am making a video of me playing next. i know i shouldof added it in this video but i didn't think of it until i uploaded it.

  • @Celinearation That is nasty! not fucking funny you prick

  • Para para Paralyzed.

  • How did u get paralyzed? If u don't mind me asking

  • I agree with joedixie. However, my idea might would involve using head mic (like singers and some dancers use) and running that through a trigger of some sort. That way, all you have to do is talk, or make some sort of noise to create the sound for the bass drum, as opposed to biting...which might get tiring after a while :/

  • Cool Idea but why not just juse a pad and trigger the bass drum If you put the pad right next the the snare it works better. You should check out Jason Gerling he has this perfected. Also check out the way I play my name is Joe Hardy do a search for Joe Hardy drum solo. Also check out my rolling electronic kit.

  • Hi, I ave a son...now 9. Plays the drums, Cole is awesom self taught and I just put him in lessons. His instrctor wants to try and set the base up with a switch attached to coles head. Have you trye this?

You can see Cole play when he was six...he is much better now.

look for mmantis1 on here and you should fimd him. Any help would be fantastic.
