@GirlonFilm1969 it is ground based using very powerful radars. All radars on Israeli grounds are linked in networks means the different missile defense systems use them.

its nice to have a launch on warning capability, but unless you tell the other guy about it doesn't it kind of defeat its purpose? now i guess not. not if it works well.

AFAIK Boeiing is developing next generation radar-imaging satellites based on TecSar . This new satellite is called "Trinidad"

I've often wondered why, with all this incredible technology - why can't Israel track down (& NEUTRALIZE), via satellite, the iranian dictator from hell - ahMADinejad - who is torturing his own contrymen for their uprising against his dictatorship & making armageddon threats against Israel for years now, why can't they do the world a favor, prevent WWIII and do the dirty deed?
