This is a nice rendition of the piece. Of course it is a real war horse sung by all the great sopranos in history, and they are all here on Youtube. But you hold your own quite nicely here, Catherine. In fact, since my wife and I are big sticklers for diction and contextual accuracy, I give you big praise for singing this in excellent British English..... "with vahaaaasals and serfs at my side" charms me most, in fact.

This is an especially amazing performance when you consider that the soprano who was originally scheduled to sing was taken ill and Catherine took over at very short notice.
