With his work on the Time Dilation feature of Eve entering the public testing phase, CCP Veritas dropped himself in front of a camera in our local beer cave to give you all a quick demonstration of what Time Dilation is, what it looks like, and how it applies to Caldari family reunions.

the camera should move the same speed but everything else should be slower

Time dilation doesn't give a fuck how good you think your computer is; from what you said, you can't tell the cause and difference between framerate drop, and lag which proves you don't know jack about this so please keep quiet and let those who know what is going on talk. The problem is that in this video we have client lag (that is what causes the frame rate drop and lag feeling) The dev pc was probably overloaded from running all that tine-clients and recording the time dilatation is more like slow motion u can see the missiles flying slower those huge stops and frame rate drops are not part of the time dilatation effect stupid video is stupid

@antza2 Several groups have used massive information spams to the server to attempt to lag out the enemies during a teamfight; upgrading servers wouldn't have as much effect as time dilation. Also, this feature allows more time to respond in extremely chaotic situations- yay.

i feel like upgrading the servers would have been a better compensation than imposing your hardware limitations on the entire game via programming
