Seems to me you know nothing about Bernie Sanders, must not live in VT. We voted him in because Bernie is not a whore, unless you define a whore as working for the majority of Americans by advocating for our money (taxes) to stay in programs that we benefit from, such as the VA and medicare, while speaking against corporate welfare!
In your world, I guess you'd call Jesus a whore too for throwing out the money changers!?

@trounds2 Whoever is the presiding officer at that time, most likely a female senator. The senate and house take turns on who presides over each meeting. This is the job of the Vice President, Senate President Pro Tempore, and the Speaker of the House....But those are now ceremonial roles. So they take turns, and during speeches representatives speak to the chair.

I think that it's his flawed idealism and his ability to follow as such which makes him an honest man. The only problem with his idealism is it's innately incoherent with the truth in these matters.

This is what it looks like when a free-market fails. There is no law and order. A bunch of gangsters and thugs, whose best buddies are on Wall Street, have hijacked our Federal Government. It is a power-grab of historic proportions. The White House has set blaze to the United States Constitution to ensure the Executive Branch attains its wishes. When there are no boundaries the few will take the many and exploit them. Dictatorial. VERY dictatorial. Greed is infinite.
