Don Bosco Wrestling. Todd Becker dislocated his elbow while practicing over Christmas break. We all thought his season and high school career was over. Todd went through demanding therapy and returned to the lineup after only 1 month. He lost his first match back to an eventual state place winner and went on to win the 1A 160 State Championship while helping Don Bosco wins its first Traditional State Title since 1987. Then went on to win their 2nd consecutive State Duals Title. It was the first year DB had won both State Titles in the same year.
After State Duals the team traveled back to Gilbertville and were escorted in by the fire truck and a fireworks display. At the reception, North Scott Head Wrestling Coach and former Don Bosco Coach Dan Mashek spoke.
